Channel glass specification and weight table

Channel glass structure application and design

1. U-Type-Glass for construction is a specific name in China and is called channel glass in the international industry.
2. Scope of application
It has been widely used in China, such as airports, stations, stadiums, factories, office buildings, hotels, houses, greenhouses and other industrial and civil buildings, non-load-bearing interior and exterior walls, partitions and roofs, and sun roofs.

3. Classification
3.1 Classification by color: clear, low iron, spray, coating.
3.2 Classification by surface: divided into thick and thin patterns.
3.3 Classification by strength: annealing, tempering.

4. Architectural design
4.1 Channel glass can be used as wall material for buildings, exterior walls, partitions, etc.
Exterior walls are generally used in multi-story buildings. The height of the glass depends on the wind load, the height of the glass, and the way the glass is connected. The channel glass outer wall node diagram is specially described in the China National Building Standard Design Atlas 0605J505-1 .
4.2 Channel glass is a non-combustible material. It has been tested by the National Fireproof Building Materials Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The fire resistance limit is 0.75h (single row, 6mm thick). If there are special requirements, design or take fire prevention measures according to relevant regulations.
4.3 channel glass can be installed in single row and double row. When the channel glass is used for arc or curved surface mounting, the radius of curvature is determined by the width of the glass: the glass width is 260 mm, the radius is not less than 2000 mm, the glass width is 330 mm, and the radius is not less than 3200 mm. The glass has a width of 500 mm and a radius of not less than 7500 mm.
